We didn’t do much yesterday or today since we were working on my room. Yesterday we did do a Jigsaw puzzle, ate Junk food and did 50 Jumping Jacks Just for Kicks.

Today we moved most of my furniture into my room so it was “Kendyl’s room day”. We ate Ketchup (with chicken nuggets, not alone) and made a Kind of Kitschy Duck Tape wallet at Michael’s for my dad. Next week they have travel crafts starting. I’m so excited!

We didn’t finish H, so we did an HI Day yesterday.  We put together a Hummingbird Hangout. I learned what a HAIKU poem was. We listened Independent music at a park. We ate Instant food and made Ice cream sandwiches (with Homemade chocolate chip cookies from my Grandma. yum!) I Helped Improve our Interior by sponge-painting the Incredible colors for my under-the-sea bedroom.

Yesterday we did G Day. My dad and I Gardened and planted Grass seed to Grow. I drew a Gruesome Ghoulish Gargoyle. We ate Green food, but I wish we had Granola and Grapes. I had to settle for Green peas. I also got to play Wii Go Vacation Golf Games.

Our Homemade Hotcakes with peanut butter, strawberries, whipped cream and chocolate syrup!

Today we did H Day. We had Homemade Hotcakes (pancakes) for dinner/dessert. I put peanut butter on mine. It was really good! We watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1&2 with Horcruxes. We went to a Home improvement store to get paint Hues. My room is going to look like it’s under the ocean!

Fabulous F

Yesterday we did F Day. We Focused on Food really. I dressed up as a Forest Fairy nymph. I Finished my Freaky Faced, Fun-lovin’ tiki. We ate Fun Fast Food with French Fries. On my burger, I accidentally ate a pickle! We also made floats. My dad said my Coca-Cola & Barq’s Float smelled like Windex! It tasted good, though! Finally, we worked on Flipping rooms. (I’m moving into a larger one!!!)

We also flew some kites in honor of Benjamin Franklin Flying a kite and discovering Electricityin 1752. We didn’t find any electricity but we used lots of energy.

Exciting E

Eggs balanced on end

We balanced eggs on their end!

Yesterday (June 9) we did E Day, so we did some Egg-citing Experiments. We “balanced an Egg” and “spun an Egg”, both Eggs-periments from “We Dare You!” by Vicki Cobb and Kathy Darling.To balance the egg, we had to shake it to make the yolk break free of the shell and become more liquid. This also lets the air rise to the top of the egg so it can balance. When you spin an egg on its side and then stop it and release it immediately, it will start to spin again! That’s because the contents inside the egg never stopped moving when you stopped the shell.


My Enchanting Ensemble

After we did our eggs-periments, we made custard from the Eggs to see how eggs coagulate with heat. The Custard Experiment was in “Science Experiments You Can Eat” by Vicki Cobb, again. We ate Eggs for lunch and Enchiladas for dinner. Our Enchanted Entertainment was the movie “Labyrinth” staring David Bowie! I even got to dress up in a costume to get FREE popcorn!

Other experiments we did: “Put the back of your hands against a doorway, press with all your might for thirty seconds (Mississippi 1, Mississippi 2, etc.) and come out and relax your arms. Up, up, up, up, up! Your muscles contract when you relax them, so your arm(s) floats up!” and “Have your arm  so that your finger tips just touch a wall. Swing it back and forth once. Your just shrank! When you swing your arm, your body goes back too, but it doesn’t go back unless you force it to.” Both from “We Dare You!”

Dum Dum-Dum Dum…D!

Yesterday we had a slow transition from C into D. We Dined on Chili, had Cupcakes for Dessert, and went Downtown for a Courtyard Concert by a Duo. I also Drew Decorative Designs, Digitized (recorded) my Diddies (songs), Decorated my Disney fairy’s Domicile (home), and watched DUMBO on DVD. I also did some Dares from my “We Dare You Book.” There was one really cool one that makes your arms float!

Since we had a slow start with D yesterday and because it’s Donald Duck Day, we continued D this morning. Donald Duck debuted in his first short, “The Wise Little Hen”, on June 9, 1934.

Big Bonus: Did you know Donald Duck’s middle name is Fauntleroy? Imagine saying, “Donald Fauntleroy Duck!” if he got into trouble.

I’m not sure what all we’ll do for E Day, but I know it will include Exciting Experiments and Enchanted Entertainment!

C Day Fun!

Today we did C day. (We skipped doing a letter day yesterday because I went to Six Flags with my grandpa–which was super Chillaxing!)  So for C day today, I Created Colorful Crazy Crayola Crayon Cards. My mom and I did stuff on the Computer. My dad made Cheese quesadillas and we had Cauliflower and Carrots.  We made a Chocolatey Chocolate Chai Tea Creation/Creamy Concoction. 100% Cream-alicous. Plus, it Celebrated National Chocolate Ice Cream Day! 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 Creative C words. Now 22. Cool!23. Tomorrow will be D day. But Currently, it’s C day. OK, now 24 words. Joke of the day: What did the grape say to the Cherry?

Summer Vacation!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s my Summer Vacation! The first month we decided to do a letter of the Alphabet each day. Yesterday was A, today is B, tomorrow C, and so on. If you don’t know what to do for a letter,  you can check out my PICK A LETTER page for some ideas. Each day you should think of a letter to do and come up with words that start with the letter you’re doing and do the word, like we’re going to Blow Big Bubbles in the Backyard today. We might also Bird and Butterfly watch and have Burgers for Brunch. Plus Blog!

Since yesterday was the letter A AND it was also Applesauce Cake Day, we made Applesauce cupcakes! Then we went to an Amusement park where I also got to do Aquatic stuff. It was an AMAZING start to my letter month!!!
